Determination of Sulfonamide Residues in Honey by SPE-RP-LC with FL Detection

چکیده

A quantitative HPLC – fluorescence method for the simultaneous determination of sulfamerazine (SMR) and sulfamethoxazole (SMX) in honey has been developed. Sample pretreatment included acidic hydrolysis, followed by solid phase extraction (SPE) procedure. The liquid chromatography (LC) separation was carried out on RP C 18 column and sulfonamides were detected by fluorescence detector after pre-column derivatization with fluorescamine. LC separation was performed in 50 min., with a total analysis time of 55 min.Identification and quantitation were based on retention time and fluorescence intensity. The method demonstrated that the most of endogenous matrix components were removed and the sulfonamides were isolated from spiked samples with recoveries above 73%.
